CallPages city guides collect a city's restaurant pages into one guide site. London and San Juan–Condado are live: 604 restaurants and nearly 17,000 dishes with real prices, every dish one tap away from a call to the restaurant.
A single restaurant page is easy to share; a whole city's worth is a discovery problem. Diners will not browse 300 separate pages, and a hand-made directory goes stale the day a menu changes.
Two cities are live
The London guide indexes 320 restaurant pages and 8,040 dishes — every one with a published price. The San Juan–Condado guide indexes 284 restaurants and 8,958 dishes, 8,842 of them priced. Together that's more than 600 restaurants a diner can search by cuisine, compare by real menus, and call with one tap.
Honest numbers, no invented stars
The guides carry no star ratings, because nobody awarded any. Where a guide ranks restaurants — its fine-dining list, for example — it ranks by a number that exists: the median price of a main course on the restaurant's own menu. Every price on every profile is the price the restaurant published on its own page.
One honest gap
Each restaurant's call button rings that restaurant's own page, which is where its agent knows its menu. What doesn't exist yet is a guide-level concierge call that can transfer you between member restaurants — the guide is a directory with live menus today, not a switchboard. We'd rather say that plainly than dress it up.
How it works
- A guide is a special CallPage that aggregates its city's member pages at render time — menus are read live from each restaurant's own page, never copied, so nothing goes stale.
- Diners browse by cuisine or neighborhood, or start from the guide's analysis pages; every restaurant keeps its own page, prices, and call button.
- When a member edits a menu or a price, the guide reflects it on the next visit. There is no directory editor and no stale listing.
